Stonelaw Library was a hit

Rutherglen Reformer - - Memory Lane -

These Stonelaw pupils were reading all about it 30 years ago.

Formerly a cloakroom, Stonelaw had converted it into a library - and had been given top marks by the Library Association of Scotland in a list of good libraries across the UK.

Pictured are pupils Stuart Clark, Lynn Mulraney, Louise Wyle and David Nicholson, along with librarian Andrea Kemp, assistant head teacher John Thomson and rector George Sherlaw.
