Busi­ness net­work to meet

Char­ity and com­merce will come to­gether at the next meet­ing of the Lo­cal Busi­ness Net­work.

The event on Fri­day, March 11, will see Linda Oliver from so­cial en­ter­prise Cam­Glen Ra­dio tell ev­ery­one about the new­est ra­dio sta­tion in the area as it ap­proaches its first birth­day.

She will be fol­lowed by guest speaker Jules McKim, from STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal, who will also pro­vide an in­sight into the work of the char­ity which pro­vides fund­ing to both of the Ruther­glen and Cam­bus­lang ini­tia­tives.

The busi­ness com­mu­nity is en­cour­aged to sup­port the char­ity at the event when David Col­lie Pho­tog­ra­phy will be of­fer­ing pro­fes­sional pro­file pic­tures in re­turn for a £5 do­na­tion to the STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal.

Held at the Burn­side Ho­tel, the meet­ing will be­gin with tea and hot rolls at 9am and is ex­pected to run un­til 11am.
