Man, 37, denies driving without licence
A Cambuslang man has been charged with driving a car without a test certificate.
Barry Mitchell, 37, is alleged to have committed the offence at Newton Railway Station in Cambuslang on November 5, 2015.
Mitchell was further charged with failing to provide two specimens of breath for analysis at Cathcart Police office.
The specimens were required to ascertain Mitchell’s ability to drive or the proportion of alcohol in his breath at the time he was in charge of the vehicle.
The accused appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, March 9 and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Trial was set for April 7.
