The mother of tragic Castlemilk lad Ryan McLean is preparing to honour his memory at an emotional charity night.

Stacey Malloy is hosting the event at Fratelli’s in Cambuslang on Friday, March 25.

It was originally meant to be a night for both Ryan and his best pal, Mark Gallagher, 11, who also suffers from a brain tumour.

But with Mark’s condition worsening, his mother was forced to pull out and Stacey has offered to take it on herself to make sure the event still goes ahead.

All money raised will go to the Les Hoey Dreammaker foundation.

Tickets are £5 and anyone interested can contact Stacey over Facebook.

She’s also hoping local businesses will be able to help out with raffle prizes.

Anyone able to help can find her Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stacey. molloy.14

Stacey said: “Les has done so much for us. He helped take the whole family to shows and to the circus and even let us use the group’s caravan to let us get away.”
