A Rutherglen man pleaded guilty to being in possession of cocaine when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week.
Gavin Forrest, of 327 Kingsbridge Drive, and Laura Lee McCluskey, of Bertram Street, Shawlands, were in court on Monday, March 14 to face five charges between them.
The pair admitted being in possession of cocaine on February 3, 2015, at St George’s Road, Glasgow, and McCluskey, 26, pleaded guilty to holding class B drug cannabis on the same date.
Forrest, 34, also pleaded guilty to driving a car without insurance on St George’s Road on February 3.
Both denied providing police officers with false names in the same incident in a bid to evade prosecution, which was accepted by the Crown Office.
At the court hearing Forrest was fined £520 and had seven penalty points imposed on his driving licence.
Co-accused McCluskey was fined £360.
A teenager has been charged with shouting racial abuse at police officers.
The 19 year old was arrested shortly after midnight on Friday, March 25, when he allegedly behaved in an abusive manner towards police officers on Bridge Street, Cambuslang.
He was detained and held in police custody pending a court hearing the following morning, Saturday, March 26.
