South Lanarkshire Council have received a retrospective planning application for a host of changes at the John Fairweather pub on Main Street.
Pub giants Wetherspoons have extended their beer garden area at the rear of the building. They have also installed a canopy, fencing and additional rear doors and flue. The plans also include the enlargement of existing windows on the eastern elevation, the installation of light tubes onto the roof, the replacement of front doors and associated internal alterations.
Plans were submitted last week and will now be considered by council officers.
