Ex­change was the cen­tre of fash­ion

The cat­walk came to Ruther­glen Ex­change ear­lier this month with the spring/sum­mer 2016 fash­ion show and mar­ket.

Shop­pers were treated to a glimpse of the new sea­son’s trends and looks which are all avail­able in cen­tre.

The mod­els in­cluded lo­cal girls Layla and Caitlin Daly, as well as for­mer Miss Scot­land, Ni­cole Treacy.

Shop­pers gave their sup­port to the cen­tre char­ity of the year, Breast Cancer Care, when the fash­ion show turned pink in aid of the char­ity.

Jane Cowan, cen­tre man­ager, said “We were thrilled to be host­ing an­other fash­ion show for our cus­tomers and sup­port­ing such a great cause at the same time.

“Our mod­els looked stun­ning in the key sea­son trends and styles and our ju­nior model won the cute vote on the day with lit­tle Layla wear­ing de­signer la­bels from Kids Talk.”
