Connor earns honours at sports awards
Trinity High pupil Connor McCole was among the list of winners at the Cambuslang and Rutherglen Sports Awards.
Sportsmen and women celebrated their success in a sparkling night at Rutherglen Town Hall on March 24.
Sixth-year pupil Connor was presented with the Brian Logue award for his achievements.
Connor has defied the odds to establish himself as a sportsman of the highest calibre.
He excelled in two different sports, including Boccia, and represented Team Scotland in the Under-19 National Championships where he won a silver medal to ensure he is well placed for the Great Britain Paralympic squad in 2020.
Connor also performed well while playing for Clyde Alba in the National Powerchair Football League.
The award that is named in honour of former Reformer photographer Brian Logue who sadly passed away in 2013.
Brian’s son Christopher was on hand to present Connor with his prize.
