Rutherglen Reformer - - Election Special -

We will continue to run a positive campaign... the electorate are fed up with negativity

Team Haughey has been campaigning relentlessly since January. We are connecting with thousands of voters on the doorstep, at our street stalls and at various events across the constituency.

I have been privileged to attend many local fayres, events and community meetings since becoming a candidate; meeting with many local people and small business owners. How can you represent your community if you do not speak with them to hear their concerns?

As we head into the final weeks of the campaign we will continue to contact as many voters as possible on every street in Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Halfway and Blantyre, listening to their concerns.

The overriding message coming through is anger at Labour Party collusion with UK Government cuts and their attempts to distance themselves from supporting Tory austerity budgets.

We will continue to run a positive campaign right up to polling day.

The electorate are fed up with the negativity of the other parties. We will stand on the record of the SNP government over the past two terms where every household has benefitted in some way.
