Here are some more photos from the Cambuslang and Rutherglen Sports Awards ceremony held on Thursday, March 24.

It was a night to remember for sportsmen, women and teams as more than 150 people packed out Rutherglen Town Hall to celebrate their sporting achievements.

The evening was hosted by former Trinity High pupil Dorothea McInnes and sixth year Trinity student Megan Docherty in what was a special night to recognise sportspeople in 13 different categories.

Chairwoman of the Rutherglen and Cambuslang Sports Council and Asda Toryglen Champion, Liz Arbuckle said:“It was a stunning evening and well done to all the winners.

“It is great to see so many young people get recognised for their sporting achievements. It was difficult to choose a winner because all of them are worthy champions.”
