Woman pur­sued and punched in her home

A woman was pur­sued and re­peat­edly punched in her Ruther­glen home, a court heard last week.

Danielle Louise Hughes, 26, is ac­cused of as­sault­ing the woman at Kirk­muir Drive on De­cem­ber 28, 2014, while she was the sub­ject of an an­ti­so­cial be­hav­iour or­der.

In the same in­ci­dent Gary Grant, 27, and Find­lay Grant, 34, are charged with as­sault­ing a man at the prop­erty, re­peat­edly seiz­ing him by the body and punch­ing him on the head.

G Grant also stands ac­cused of van­dal­is­ing the Ruther­glen house by throw­ing a tele­vi­sion against a ta­ble.

Hughes and G Grant, both of Staffa Road, Cam­bus­lang, and F Grant, of Hill­head Av­enue, Ruther­glen, de­nied all charges against them when they ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Tues­day, April 12.

They will re­turn to court to stand trial on May 18.
