Woman faces an assault trial
A Castlemilk woman has been charged after she was caught up in an assault of another woman.
Karen Mooney, 54, is alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing in Trongate, Glasgow, on August 22, 2015.
Her co- accused, Frank Mair, 65, from Glasgow, was charged with the same offence but he is also alleged to have assaulted a woman by kicking her on the body and pushing her on the head.
It is believed the offences were aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation.
This week at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Mooney pled not guilty and the trial was continued on May 5.
