How to find the perfect party look on a budget
lumps and bumps under cover.
YUMI dresses come in all different styles and colours, you can always count on them to find something a little bit unique.
Jewellery was kept to a very bare minimum with this look. As it is a very busy pattern on the dress, you want to keep any accessories to a very small amount so the attention is drawn to the main piece.
Juliette paired this look with a pair of 90s inspired chunky black, suede sandal heels.
I always find myself raving about the chunky heel fashion recently, but I have never felt comfort like it on a night out! Grab yourself a plain pair and your outfit opportunities - whether it be dressed up or just a smart/casual lunch date - will be endless.
For the party I wanted to try something a little different. I searched through all the local high street shops and found that chiffon blouses and shirt dresses are a huge trend this season.
Now, I have always found this style more of a smart/ casual look so felt I needed to up my game.
I found this knee length see-through shirt dress in New Look and this was literally all I actually purchased for this outfit.
Anyone who follows my blog will know I enjoy doing a little bit of up-cycling and styling, mainly because you know you’ll never turn up in the same outfit as anyone else. I am a big believer in putting my own mark on things.
This outfit was really rather simple, I wore a cami vest dress which you can purchase in Primark for £3 (keep one of these in your house as it will help with lots of outfit ideas). I wore the shirt over this, only buttoning at the middle and paired this look with some chunky gold jewellery which was a lovely contrast against the brown material.
My ‘go to’ shoe is this pair of lace up chunky heels from Peacocks, they are one of the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever worn and can be dressed up or down.
With the lower block heel these shoes are easy to dance the night away in!
