Gossip girl

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

I cannae actually believe I’m saying this but…. it’s finally here.

My first ever very own one woman show - yalday!

As many of you know I had huge success in the original UK tour of the hit comedy 51 Shades Of Maggie, and it was an incredible experience for me.

I played huge theatres including the Glasgow Pavilion, Manchester Palace and the Bristol Hippodrome but the icing on the big fat chocolate cake had to be playing the biggest theatre in the UK - the Edinburgh Playhouse. That was unforgettable. I stood on that stage with the audience on their feet at the end of the show and bawled my eyes out.

It truly was the best moment of my entire career.

I was unable to continue with the following Maggie plays after being offered River City, which was a tough decision to make, but I made myself a promise that I would do my own show and combine my two favourite loves - talking and singing. Now it’s finally happening. As I see the tickets being snapped up, I feel nervous but very excited.

So if you like a wee natter, a giggle, a sing song and a wee glass of something scrummy then get yourself down to Edinburgh’s beautiful Ghille Dhu on Thursday August 4 at 7.30pm and we’ll have a braw evening.

Tickets are £ 15 and are available exclusively at https://www.itison.com/ Edinburgh/events/an-evening- withleah- macrae-ghillie- dhu Shieldinch Shenanigans: And that’s a wrap! A wrap isn’t just a very tasty posh spicy
