Teenager ad­mits as­sault on po­lice of­fi­cer

A 17- year- old boy from Kings Park has pled guilty to shout­ing and swear­ing at his mother and as­sault­ing a po­lice of­fi­cer.

The teenager com­mit­ted the of­fences at Wil­loughby Drive , Glas­gow, on Jan­uary 17, 2016.

He ad­mit­ted to shout­ing and swear­ing at his mother and po­lice of­fi­cers and re­peat­edly ut­ter­ing threats of vi­o­lence to­wards them.

The court also found him guilty of as­sault­ing a male po­lice con­sta­ble in the ex­e­cu­tion of his duty by push­ing him and strik­ing him on the head with his hand.

He had his not guilty plea of strug­gling vi­o­lently with the of­fi­cers by lash­ing out with his arms and legs, ac­cepted by the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.

The boy will ap­pear at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Novem­ber 30 when he will be sen­tenced.
