Bus routes af­fected by clo­sure

Pa­tients us­ing the new Vic­to­ria Hos­pi­tal are be­ing warned of a road clo­sure af­fect­ing bus ser­vices.

This could es­pe­cially af­fect res­i­dents trav­el­ling by bus from Castlemilk.

Queen’s Drive is now closed for a year while work takes place on a new sewage tun­nel.

Com­ing from Castlemilk ser­vices 4, 4A and 5 will drop pas­sen­gers off be­hind the hos­pi­tal on Prospecthill Road, next to the car park.

Ser­vice 6 will drop pas­sen­gers off on Cath­cart Road at Mount Florida Health Cen­tre.

Go­ing back to Castlemilk ser­vices 4 and 4A will pick pas­sen­gers up at the stop out­side the front door of the hos­pi­tal.

Ser­vice 5 will pick pas­sen­gers up on Bat­tle­field Road at Glas­gow Clyde Col­lege.

Ser­vice 6 will pick pas­sen­gers up on Cath­cart Road at Florida Cres­cent, and on Holm­lea Road.

The 90, which serves Ruther­glen, and 34 which serves Castlemilk , Croft­foot and King’s Park are not likely to be af­fected but any­one trav­el­ling from the city cen­tre is urged to check the First Bus web­site.
