Bus routes affected by closure
Patients using the new Victoria Hospital are being warned of a road closure affecting bus services.
This could especially affect residents travelling by bus from Castlemilk.
Queen’s Drive is now closed for a year while work takes place on a new sewage tunnel.
Coming from Castlemilk services 4, 4A and 5 will drop passengers off behind the hospital on Prospecthill Road, next to the car park.
Service 6 will drop passengers off on Cathcart Road at Mount Florida Health Centre.
Going back to Castlemilk services 4 and 4A will pick passengers up at the stop outside the front door of the hospital.
Service 5 will pick passengers up on Battlefield Road at Glasgow Clyde College.
Service 6 will pick passengers up on Cathcart Road at Florida Crescent, and on Holmlea Road.
The 90, which serves Rutherglen, and 34 which serves Castlemilk , Croftfoot and King’s Park are not likely to be affected but anyone travelling from the city centre is urged to check the First Bus website.
