A warrant has been granted for a Castlemilk and Croftfoot pair who are alleged to have driven a van dangerously and punched a man repeatedly in his car.
Peter McLuckie was accused of pulling up along side another vehicle on Carmunock Road, repeatedly sounding his horn, signalling for them to pull over and then cutting in front of him.
The manoeuvre is alleged to have caused the driver to take evasive action before McLuckie and his accomplis, Jamie McNulty, 21, of Croftfoot Drive, seized hold of the man’s seat belt and repeatedly punched him on the head to his injury.
The pair are claimed to have behaved in an aggressive manner, shouted and swore and uttered threats of violence towards the man on December 16, last year.
Both men failed to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on June 8 and a warrant was granted.
