Man denies racist slurs
An alleged outburst of racism saw one Cambuslang man hauled before the courts last week.
Thomas Black, of Elm Drive, is accused of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by making racist remarks towards a man at a restaurant on Main Street.
The 53 year old’s case was adjourned when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on June 7 because of legal aid issues.
Black, who denies all charges against him, will return to court for an intermediate trial diet on July 13.
