On the road to recovery
People recovering from drug and alcohol addiction are being urged to dig out their walking shoes and take part in Recovery Walk Scotland 2016.
The walk, on September 17 in Falkirk, will see an estimated 2,000 people make recovery from addiction visible and proud in Scotland.
People working to overcome addiction in Rutherglen and Cambuslang are invited to join the walk with their families, friends, staff from treatment centres and other supporters.
They are invited to learn more about the walk at a special information event in Glasgow’s East End on June 29.
Held at PARC, Church of Nazarene, Parkhead, at midday, the event is for anyone interested in attending the Falkirk walk and will last approximately one hour.
