Rutherglen Reformer - - Memory Lane -

A court heard how the dying words of a stabbed man helped convict his girlfriend of the murder.

Cathkin residents took to the streets to express their anger at losing their community hall, as they claimed that South Lanarkshire Council had‘betrayed’ their interests.

Users of Rutherglen Community Centre were told that there was to be no replacement facility provided when the current building was pulled down, news that would mean the end of the popular community cafe too.

Residents of Dean Park Drive in Halfway were angry over a huge hole in their street caused by work on the site.

A Rutherglen councillor called for the proposed conservation area in the Burgh to be extended.
