Fire and Rescue Service want feedback
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service ( SFRS) wants people in Rutherglen and Cambuslang to share their views and help it continue to deliver an effective emergency service for every community.
A public consultation on the SFRS Strategic Plan 201619 opened at the end of last month.
It is a key milestone in the continued development of the service and will help to ensure it meets the needs of all of Scotland’s communities over the next three years.
During the consultation SFRS will engage directly with key stakeholders across Scotland to hear their thoughts on what its priorities should be.
The service have also set-up a dedicated website and anyone can take part by visiting www.firescotland. gov.uk/consultations.aspx.
The 10-week consultation closes on August 9.
And by sharing their views, people can help SFRS assess its performance and make sure its strategic objectives are the right ones.
