Racist abuse charge denied
The passenger of a taxi accused of racially abusing the driver will stand trial on July 22.
Alexander Hay is charged with behaving in racially aggravated manner by shouting, swearing, making threatening gestures and uttering racist remarks on January 31, 2016.
Hay, 49, of Staffa Road, Cambuslang, is alleged to have committed the offence while in a car en route to Cathcart Police Station.
He denied all charges against him when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on June 22.
