Man (31) de­nies as­sault

A To­ry­glen man has de­nied head butting a man and threat­en­ing two fe­males.

Ja­son Spiers al­legedly as­saulted the man to the head at Prospecthill Place on Fe­bru­ary 21, 2016.

He was also charged with be­hav­ing in a threat­en­ing and abu­sive man­ner by re­peat­edly shout­ing, swear­ing and ut­ter­ing threats to­wards the man and two other fe­males.

On the same day, Spiers is claimed to have dam­aged the prop­erty be­long­ing to an­other and sprayed paint graf­fiti on a door at Prospecthill Place.

The 31- year- old was fur­ther charged with ap­proach­ing the man and two fe­males by knock­ing on the door of their flat and at­tempt­ing to open it -breach­ing the terms of his con­di­tions af­ter he was granted bail. He is then said to have shouted, swore and ut­tered threat­en­ing re­marks.

Spiers ap­peared be­fore Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Au­gust 1 and pled not guilty to all charges. He will re­turn for trial on Au­gust 30.
