Nadine’s got the right chemistry

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

A Cambuslang woman has recently been promoted to a top position at a local chemists.

Nadine Miller, from Eastfield, first joined Dickson Chemist in Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre as a 20 year old back in 1992.

She has now taken on the role of operations manager for all five pharmacies in the Dickson Group, having worked her way through the roles of dispenser, shop supervisor and accuracy checker.

Nadine, 44, is delighted by her new role: “I’ve known the business for most of my life so far, and I love seeing all the familiar faces.

“Dickson has always gone the extra mile for customers, because we’ve got that extra personal touch of being an independent, not a big, faceless business that doesn’t know the community.

“As part of the restructure, lots of people have moved around – and I’m looking forward to introducing the handpicked teams to all our loyal customers, especially in Rutherglen.”

Stephen Dickson, director and superintendent pharmacist at Dickson Chemist, said:“Nadine has been part of the Rutherglen community, offering care with the personal touch, for so long and I’m really glad it has been her hand on the tiller during our restructuring.”
