Glencairn manager Willie Harvey admitted his team face a big test when they entertain Pollok tonight (Wednesday).

The Glens won 6-0 at home to East Kilbride at the weekend in the Exsel Group Sectional League Cup group stage to line up a quarter final tie with The Lok.

Harvey’s men went into the match level with Cambuslang Rangers on points, goal difference and goals scored and needed to better The Lang’s result with Blantyre Victoria.

The large victory was enough to see them top group four after Paul McColl’s side only managed to win 5-3.

“We were totally dominant and in total control, Harvey said.“The boys played very well and we had good passing movement.”

Before The Glens turn their attention to Saturday’s Super League First opener against Renfrew, last year’s Scottish Junior Cup finalists make the trip to the Celsius Stadium for tonight’s 6.30pm kick off.

But despite being underdogs, Harvey said his side would give their all.

“It will be a big test for us. We will give it a right good go.
