Trin­ity trio are class acts

A trio of Trin­ity High pupils were among 12 from South La­nark­shire to take part in the In­spir­ing En­ter­prise Chal­lenge over a two-week pe­riod in the sum­mer.

Char­lotte Smith, Divya Do­mun and Emma Don­nelly spent the fort­night un­der­tak­ing var­i­ous chal­lenges in­clud­ing kayak­ing, prod­uct de­sign, work­ing with a va­ri­ety of lo­cal busi­nesses and pre­sent­ing pitches to real busi­ness di­rec­tors.

The chal­lenges were all com­pleted in teams of peo­ple pre­vi­ously un­known to one another. The girls per­formed very well in­di­vid­u­ally and were com­mended for putting them­selves for­ward to take part.

And Char­lotte proved to be the pick of the bunch when she picked up the over­all win­ner prize at an awards din­ner in Both­well cas­tle Golf Club,

She was com­mended for her team­work, ini­tia­tive, ideas, hard work, en­thu­si­asm, sup­port of other team mem­bers, suc­cess in the var­i­ous team chal­lenges and star qual­ity.
