Leto on the run in sequel

Fresh from cosying up to Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad as the Joker, Jared Leto has now joined the cast of Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner sequel.

The 44-year-old’s (pictured, right) role in the sci-fi sequel remains a mystery, in keeping with the production and plot’s overall secrecy.

In other news, the part Zendaya is playing in Spider-Man: Homecoming has been confirmed – and it’s an iconic character being rebooted.

The singer and actress will bring Mary Jane Watson back to the big screen.
