Com­mu­nity ser­vice given to head-butt and threats man

Com­mu­nity ser­vice was dished out to a To­ry­glen man who head-butted a man and threat­ened two fe­males.

Ja­son Spiers was is­sued with a com­mu­nity pay­back or­der and placed un­der su­per­vi­sion for nine months when he ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 28.

The 31year old had ear­lier pleaded guilty to as­sault­ing the man dur­ing an in­ci­dent which oc­curred at Prospecthill Place on Fe­bru­ary 21, 2016.

He also ad­mit­ted be­hav­ing in a threat­en­ing and abu­sive man­ner by re­peat­edly shout­ing, swear­ing and ut­ter­ing threats to­wards the man and two other fe­males.

At the same court hear­ing he also pleaded guilty to spray paint­ing graf­fiti on a door at Prospecthill Place, plac­ing three peo­ple in a state of fear and alarm and break­ing his bail con­di­tions.
