Pair deny sex act in pub­lic

A Ruther­glen man has ap­peared in court charged with en­gag­ing in a sex­ual act in a pub­lic place.

David O’Raw, of Ryan Way, has, to­gether David Mackay Har­ris, been charged with com­mit­ting an of­fence of pub­lic in­de­cency on Oc­to­ber 21, 2015, at Sid­ney Street, Glas­gow.

O’Raw is also ac­cused of giv­ing a fake name and date of birth when re­quested by po­lice and has been charged with at­tempt­ing to pervert the course of jus­tice.

O’Raw, 24, and Har­ris, 56, of Sandy­hills, de­nied the charges against them when they ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Septem­ber 27.

They will stand trial on Oc­to­ber 27.
