Rutherglen Reformer - - Memory Lane -

Rutherglen Glencairn were facing the prospect of being without a home park after they left Southcroft, because pleas to groundshare with neighbouring clubs were proving fruitless.

A Cambuslang man was hailed as a hero by First Minister Jack McConnell at an awards ceremony, after he was honoured for bravely chasing a man running away from a bank with a handgun.

There were three new road projects proposed for Rutherglen and Cambuslang in the Local Transport Strategy, including the Cathkin Relief Road.

A Cambuslang feared he would have take matters into his own hands after another of his prized pigeons was shot.

The owners of the Cathkin landfill site were fined £4000 for poor management of the dump.
