Trial date is set
A Rutherglen woman charged with entering a property uninvited and threatening and assaulting a neighbour will stand trial later this month.
Matilda McGinley, 45, of Kirkriggs Avenue. is alleged to have assaulted the female at her home on December 10, 2015.
McGinley is alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by entering and brandishing a knife in an intimidating way.
She was also accused of assaulting a woman and standing over her with a knife while she was on the ground.
The accused is then said to have repeatedly banged on the front door causing damage to it.
In a further incident, McGinley was charged with acting in an aggressive manner by shouting and swearing at police officers and resisting and obstructing them.
At Cathcart Police office, she is alleged to have resisted, obstructed or hindered two police officers in the execution of their duty by struggling violently, lashing out with her body weight, deliberately tensing her arms and failing to support her body weight.
McGinley pled not guilty to the charges when she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court and trial was set for October 28.
