Arrest warrant issued

A 34-year-old man from Kings Park is alleged to have shot another man with a pellet gun.

David Howie is accused of seriously injuring the man by firing the air riffle on June 16, 2014.

Howie is also accused of having a loaded riffle in an enclosed space and of being in possession of an air riffle without the relevant firearms certificate.

At a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on October 4 Howie failed to appear when called by the clerk and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
