Focus on smoking
Community Links South Lanarkshire are looking for smokers, non-smokers and exsmokers to take part in a focus group.
It will look at how parents can protect children from exposure to second- hand smoke, prevent them from starting to smoke or support them to stop.
To take part people must be a parent/carer with a child under the age of 16 and live in North/South Lanarkshire.
The focus group will meet in the organisation’s Blantyre base, above the library, and members will be reimbursed for travel expenses
They will also receive a shopping gift voucher for taking part. Tea, coffee, refreshments and healthy snacks will also be provided.
Organisers will gather three focus groups on Tuesday, November 1. The non-smokers’ group will take place between 10am and 11.30am, the ex-smokers’ group will be between 12.30pm and 2pm and the current smokers will gather from 2.30pm until 4pm.
