Croftfoot United Free Church recently held a fun day that was a sunny hit.

There was a wide range of things to do on the day, which was luckily blessed by good weather too.

The church’s Marion Milligan was delighted by how it all went.

She said: “We had a children’s fun alley, Splat the Rat, Tin Can Alley, hook a duck and a chocolate challenge.

“We had hair braiding, face painting, glitter tattoos, a free bouncy castle, a free puppets show, a free domestic petting zoo dancers, pipers and gift stalls.

“We also had burgers, hot dogs and our café.

“The sun shone and the place was mobbed.

“We also had lots of support from the community, which was great.”
