Fernhill pupils all festive!

Rutherglen Reformer - - School's Christmas Nativity Play - Staff reporter

Fernhill pupils were shining brightly just before Christmas.

The boys and girls of the school’s nursery and infants department told the story of Christmas to a packed Cambuslang Institute.

And their Nativity performance was a big hit.

Depute head teacher Mary Frances Gallagher said:“Each year our nursery and infant staff prepare the children for the Christmas Nativity and this year their performance of the Wriggly Nativity surpassed all expectation.

“The children were word perfect in their delivery and the singing and choreography was outstanding.

“An integral part of their expressive arts curriculum, the Christmas Nativity provides an excellent vehicle to showcase the talent within our pupil group as well as providing a perfect opportunity to retell the beautiful story of Jesus’ birth.”
