Three on trial for sup­ply of drugs al­le­ga­tions

A Ruther­glen woman and two male Cam­bus­lang res­i­dents have been charged with in­tend­ing to sup­ply a class A drug.

Lee-Anne Cle­ments, 34, Mar­i­anne Mon­aghan, 54, and John Clark, 53, are al­leged to have had di­amor­phine on their pos­ses­sion at Kyle Court, Cam­bus­lang, on April 7, 2016.

Cle­ments of Glen­side Drive, Ruther­glen, who is claimed to have been on bail when the in­ci­dent took place, was fur­ther charged with hav­ing di­azepam, a class C drug, on her per­son.

The trio, in­clud­ing Brae­side Place res­i­dent Mon­aghan and Clark of Max­ton Ter­race, de­nied the charges against them.

They will ap­pear for trial at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Jan­uary 12.
