Fell from flat
Emergency services rushed to rescue a man who fell from a flat onto the roof of a two-storey building in Cambuslang on New Year’s Day.
Fire and ambulance crews raced to Brown Place at 9.50pm after receiving reports of a man injured on a roof of flats.
He was later taken to hospital.

Emergency services raced to Brown Place at 9.50pm after receiving reports a man was injured and on a roof of flats.
Crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue used service ladders and an aerial rescue platform to reach the victim from the two-storey roof.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service said:“The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called at 9.50pm to reports of a person injured on a roof on Brown Place in Cambuslang.
“Fire service ladders were used to gain access to the injured person and an aerial rescue platform was used to bring them down from the roof.
“The person was then passed into the care of Scottish Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
“There is no further information at this time.”
