Anne Marie McNair

Cathkin High headteacher

Rutherglen Reformer - - Memory Lane -

Anne Marie McNair, head teacher of Cathkin High School said:“2017 will mark my 24th year working within the Cambuslang/Rutherglen community and I have witnessed this community growing from strength to strength.

“We are fortunate to have committed councillors, teachers, young people and citizens that give freely of their time to help and care for others.

“However, I am also conscious of the difficult circumstances of some people’s lives and the way of the world in general. Hence my wish for 2017, one that I will personally strive for, is that young people build the resilience needed to achieve their full potential and a positive future, that the elderly are considered with respect and esteem for all that they can teach us and that we all find strategies to support the most vulnerable people in our community.

“I wish you health and happiness and I am looking forward to continuing to be part of this amazing community in 2017.”
