Trio facing trial
Three men will stand trial next month charged with surrounding two women in a vehicle, banging on the windscreen and attempting to open the car doors.
The ladies, community wardens, were in their vehicle on Western Avenue on May 24, 2016 when Craig McMillan, 20, Paul McLaughlin, 20, and a 17 year old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - are said to have approached.
The trio are accused of shouting, swearing and gesticulating towards the women and recording them on a mobile phone.
They are said to have surrounded the vehicle, stopping the women from driving it along the road, repeatedly striking the windscreen and attempting to open the doors of the car.
McMillan, of McCallum Avenue, McLaughlin, o f Ac r e d y k e R o a d , and the teenager, of Toryglen Road, pleaded not guilty to the charge when they appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on January 11.
They will all stand trial on February 7.
McMillan will be tried for a further charge of behaving in a threatening manner in another incident on June 20, 2016 at Toryglen Road.
He is accused of committing the offence having been granted bail on June 6, 2016.
