Pupils at St Bartholomew’s Primary were a festive hit when they performed the Nativity just before Christmas.

Primary one youngsters were dressed up as Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds, sheep and the three wise men for the show, which took place before an audience of proud parents, families and school staff.

Depute headteacher Maureen Douglas said:“Our pupils performed two stunning shows for our parents, who were all delighted with their children’s talented performances.

“The pupils had a lot of practice beforehand to get ready and it was the first time they’d been on stage.

“Mrs Crompton and Ms Murphy worked hard to make sure they were all ready for it.

“We had some special guests there too from Caledonian University’s Caledonian Club, which the school works closely with, and they were very impressed.”
