Man spat at po­lice of­fi­cers

A Cam­bus­lang man has pled guilty to spit­ting at two po­lice of­fi­cers.

Jor­dan Bris­bane be­haved in an ag­gres­sive man­ner, shouted and swore at Wel­fare Av­enue and in a marked po­lice ve­hi­cle on route to Aiken­head Road on Septem­ber 3, 2016.

The 25-year-old also ad­mit­ted re­peat­edly stat­ing he knew the name and ad­dresses of serv­ing po­lice of­fi­cers.

Bris­bane, a res­i­dent of Wood­land Cres­cent, was cleared of strug­gling vi­o­lently with two po­lice con­sta­bles but ad­mit­ted to spit­ting at them at Cath­cart Po­lice Of­fice.

His guilty plea was ac­cepted when he ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court in De­cem­ber and he was handed a com­mu­nity pay­back or­der and a re­stric­tion of lib­erty or­der on Jan­uary 6.
