Sentence deferred on car thieves
Sentence has been deferred on two Rutherglen women who stole from cars across a number of days in February last year.
Jade Bruen and Donna Reid, both of Kirkconnel Drive, pleaded guilty to three charges of theft between them when they appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on January 11.
Bruen, 26, admitted stealing clothes, a first aid kit and parking permit from an unlocked car in Castlemilk on February 6, 2016.
Reid, meanwhile, stole clothing, footwear, tools and toys on February 9, 2016 when she found the goods and made no effort to trace the owner.
The 32-year-old also admitted to stealing a car stereo and toys from an unlocked car on Glencroft Road on February 10.
Both women will be sentenced on February 7.
