Fined for in­tent to sup­ply drugs

A Ruther­glen wo­man has been cleared of a drugs al­le­ga­tion but two of her coac­cused have been fined for in­tent to sup­ply.

Lee-Anne Cle­ments, 34, of Glen­side Drive, had her not guilty plea ac­cepted af­ter she was charged with hav­ing di­azepam and di­amor­phine on her per­son.

How­ever, Mar ianne Mon­aghan, 54, and John Clark, 53, were found guilty of hav­ing di­amor­phine, a class A drug, on their pos­ses­sion with in­tent to sup­ply at Kyle Court, Cam­bus­lang, on April 7, 2016.

Brae­side Place res­i­dent Mon­aghan was fined £ 250 while Clark of Max­ton Ter­race was charged £200.
