Rutherglen Reformer - - Election Special -

Labour has a strong record of standing up for Cambuslang.

From our commitment to refurbish and rebuild every school to housebuilding and investment in local infrastructure, Labour councillors on SLC have listened to residents and businesses. But it’s clear that continued attacks on council funding have forced cuts. Only Labour is willing to stand up against these SNP cuts.

A crucial point raised by local people is on roads and pavements. Labour’s local manifesto contains a commitment to invest £5.5 million in our roads improvement programme so we can tackle the issues raised about our Main Street. We need representatives who know the area, who will work with our community.

Labour has campaigned on GP shortages in Cambuslang. We need Labour councillors who know the issues faced by local people.

Cambuslang West needs councillors to stand up for our area in our community and in SLC chambers. Only Labour will put Cambuslang first.
