Tried to pin cop with car door

A 34-year-old man al­legedly used his body weight to pin a po­lice of­fi­cer against the door of a ve­hi­cle and re­peat­edly at­tempt to strike her with his head.

Don­ald Hud­son from To­ry­glen, is claimed to have com­mit­ted the of­fence while in the back of po­lice ve­hi­cle on Au­gust 6, 2016 on Cam­bus­lang Road.

The Ard­na­hoe Av­enue res­i­dent was fur­ther charged with as­sault­ing a male who was driv­ing the ve­hi­cle by kick­ing him on the body trav­el­ling on Cam­bus­lang Road.

He is also al­leged to have re­peat­edly kicked a car win­dow in an at­tempt to smash it and strug­gled vi­o­lently with con­sta­bles.

Hud­son, who is be­lieved to have been on bail at the time of the in­ci­dent, will ap­pear for trial at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on April 21.
