Tried to pin cop with car door
A 34-year-old man allegedly used his body weight to pin a police officer against the door of a vehicle and repeatedly attempt to strike her with his head.
Donald Hudson from Toryglen, is claimed to have committed the offence while in the back of police vehicle on August 6, 2016 on Cambuslang Road.
The Ardnahoe Avenue resident was further charged with assaulting a male who was driving the vehicle by kicking him on the body travelling on Cambuslang Road.
He is also alleged to have repeatedly kicked a car window in an attempt to smash it and struggled violently with constables.
Hudson, who is believed to have been on bail at the time of the incident, will appear for trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court on April 21.
