Rugby club in hunt for players
Cambuslang Rugby Club have put a call out to attract new players for next season.
Coach Jamie Seery has called on keen athletes who believe they can make an impact at Coats Park, regardless of their experience, to come along to train with the team.
The Cambus are already in preparation for the season ahead which starts in September after securing promotion to West Division 1.
Seery’s men finished second in the league in their last campaign and are keen to compete with much stronger opposition next season.
A recruitment call on the club’s social media pages said: “Having just secured promotion to BT West Division 1, Cambuslang are in the hunt for new talent. The club is recruiting players for the new rugby season and regardless if you’re experienced or new to the game. Cambuslang has a position for you!”
Seery told the Reformer earlier this month he was looking to improve the front row of his first XV, particularly the props and hookers positions.
