A 34-year-old man has had his sentence deferred after using his body weight to pin a police officer against the door of a vehicle and repeatedly attempting to strike her with his head.
Donald Hudson, from Toryglen, committed the offence while in the back of police vehicle on August 6, 2016 on Cambuslang Road.
The Ardnahoe Avenue resident then assaulted a man who was driving the vehicle by kicking him on the body travelling on Cambuslang Road.
He was also found to have repeatedly kicked a car window in an attempt to smash it and struggled violently with constables.
Hudson, who was on bail at the time of the incident, will appear for sentencing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 18.
