A new trial date has been set for a man charged with drink driving.
David Robert Bell is alleged to have consumed so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The prescribed limit however, is 22 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The 37-year-old of Castlemilk Drive, Glasgow, was further charged for failing to stop his vehicle when he was required to do so by a police officer on Croftfoot Quadrant on August 21, 2016.
He is due to stand trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 23 after a new date was agreed last month.
