Kicked copand shouted abuse
Assaulting a cop and making homophobic remarks while being taken to a police station landed a woman in the dock.
Francesca Burns, 21, pleaded guilty to kicking a male officer on the body at a property in Jamaica Drive, East Kilbride on April 25.
Burns also admitted to a threatening behaviour charge aggravated by abuse of her partner/ex-partner.
She caused her victim fear and alarm by shouting, swearing and making threats of violence and acting aggressively at the East Kilbride address and on the course of a journey to Cathcart Police Office.
Burns, of McIver Street, Cambuslang, pled guilty to a further charge of threatening behaviour aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation.
She had shouted, swore and made offensive remarks.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court the case was adjourned until June 1 for background reports.
Bail was granted.
