Five challengers to Ferrier
Six candidates will go head-to-head in Rutherglen and Hamilton West in the General Election on June 8.
With candidates declared and campaigning now under way, Margaret Ferrier is defending the seat for the SNP with Labour’s Gerard Killen likely to be her closest challenger.
Ann Le Blond is standing for the Conservatives while Robert Brown stands once again for the Liberal Democrats.
UKIP is also contesting the seat, with Caroline Santos representing them.
The list is made up with independent candidate Andy Dixon.
A member of Halfway Community Council, Mr Dixon said he is standing because he has“reached the conclusion party politics is a major obstacle when it comes to resolving the issues our communities face”.
